Met Life has some of the highest ratings for financial stability. They are also one of the most experienced long term care insurers in terms of the amount of long term care claims they have incurred. And they have never raised their rates on any of their long term care policyholders.

I am not crazy over their policy. I wasn't rating the policy. I was simply listing them as one of the most financially secure insurers with a lot of long term care experience.

I'd rather have a 'so so' policy from a very sound, experienced insurer, than a 'wonderful' policy from a company that has below average financial ratings.
