Probably not, Colleen. Unless you already have a large net worth or significant retirement savings, you probably shouldn't focus on LTCi just yet.
At your age it is certainly much more important to have medical insurance, long term disability insurance, and life insurance (if you're married or have dependents). Once you have all of those in place, then you should make sure that you are maximizing your contributions to your 401k and/or IRA each year.
If all that's being done already, then sure, spend the $40 a month for the LTCi premiums.
