: My husband is a Korean War Veterans with a 40% disability. He had a stroke in May of '99 and has been diagnosed with vascular dementa. If he gets to the point where I can no longer care for him at home, are there VA facilities he can go to rather than regular nursing homes?
You should check with the VA. Depending on your finace may be you should check with an Elder Lawyer Attorney to find out how to qualify
for Medicaid.
