: My John Hancock LTC policy is puchased thru my empolyer but it is a individual policy that can be taken with me if I leave. My employer pays 80% of the cost. My empoyler gets a break on the cost because they buy so many products from John Hancock.

: : James,

: : The new policy that is coming out in 2002 is a new "individual" LTCi policy. I think you mentioned in a previous post that you purchased a policy through your employer--I assume it is a group LTCi policy. They are only coming out with a new individual policy in 2002. They do not come out with new group policies every few years. It's too costly to do that.

: : The only way you can upgrade your policy is if it is actually an individual policy that you have and not a group policy.
