The new policy that is coming out in 2002 is a new "individual" LTCi policy. I think you mentioned in a previous post that you purchased a policy through your employer--I assume it is a group LTCi policy. They are only coming out with a new individual policy in 2002. They do not come out with new group policies every few years. It's too costly to do that.

The only way you can upgrade your policy is if it is actually an individual policy that you have and not a group policy.
