UNUM gets slammed on 60 Minutes

Last night's 60 Minutes TV show had a segment on UNUM Provident disability insurance. Several claims people from UNUM were interviewed and said that they had monthly goals to meet regarding claims being denied in order to save money. In one case, an opthamologist who got Parkinson's was denied disability becasue they said he could perform surgery. If this is going on with disability insurance I wonder how much of it is happening with LTC insurance?
