Your best bet is to now get in touch with a very strong, highly qualified Elder-Care Attorney and plan for your estate (wills, trusts, etc.) and most of all your alternative for financing your care for the rest of your lives. Get a referral from a professional that you KNOW you can trust to refer you to an Elder-Care Attorney. DO NOT MESS AROUND WITH INSURANCE AGENTS ON THIS SITUATION. You need professional ADVICE, NOT a salesperson at this point.
