Brenda, it would be well worth your time and efforts to get an appointment with a "FEE-ONLY" Financial Planner in your area to discuss whether or not you are really a candidate for LTC insurance. For a truly UNBIASED opinion, a "FEE-ONLY" planner is you absolute best bet, that's someone who DOES NOT sell any product other than his/her knowledge. They generally charge by the hour. Call your Chamber of Commerce, your CPA or an Attorney for a referral to FEE-ONLY financial planners in your area. You will sleep better if you do.
