Met Life underwrutes the AARP plan and has crippled this association benefit with very lean benefits as compared to individually purchase plans. Not a real quality purchase...price or benefits. Probably due to their commission payment structure to AARP. MET life won the bidding war for that association. Sorta like NASA and the "low bidder" contractors...not always a good idea for those riding the rocket.
